Course Description:
Join us for a unique layered exploration of the Albuquerque Bosque! In this mixed-media workshop, you’ll create a New Mexican-inspired scene on a cardstock base using hand-stitched embroidery, felt, acrylic paint, patterned paper, landscape imagery, curated collage elements, and inked stamps. All Materials are Provided!

About the Artist:
Muñeca Mistícas is a mixed-media collage artist based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, whose work draws inspiration from historical artwork and artifacts, Southwestern landscapes, and dreamlike imagery. Her artistic practice explores vintage illustrations, paper crafting, and textiles to create layered visual narratives that connect the past with contemporary expression. In addition to her studio work, she designs and leads whimsical mixed-media workshops for both adults and children.
*This workshop is held in our downstairs classroom, which is not accessible to wheelchairs and some other mobility devices.
